An electric scooter, also referred to as an electric kick scooter or e-scooter, is a stand-up kick scooter powered by a small onboard electric motor. Typically, e-scooters have two small wheels with a large deck in-between for standing and a foldable aluminum or plastic chassis. However, three and four wheeled scooters are also available for less experienced riders or for those requiring more stability.
